Marble Maze Food Web STEM Lab --Once the students have wrapped their heads around the basics of food webs, it’s time to roll up those sleeves and get creative! They’ll be building a marble run using a treasure trove of materials, showcasing the various levels of the food web in a chosen ecosystem. These 5th graders were absolutely buzzing with excitement as they dove into this hands-on adventure of learning about the food web!

Students from Mrs. Melton’s fifth grade math classes used their detective and math skills to help locate and solve for missing numerators and denominators of equivalent fractions. Working together as secret agents using multiplication and division, students skillfully succeeded at finding and solving all of them!




Snagging those AR Points! The 5th graders in Mrs. Kuykendall's, Mr. Dykes', and Mrs. Cotten's classes have been putting in some serious reading hours to hit their Accelatered Reading targets. Time for a high-five fest!







Ms. Jarrell's class created fraction kits and enjoyed a game of "Cover Up." Learning about fractions can be a lot of fun! Let the fractions begin!






Little things can brighten up a day! Mrs. Miles and Austyn Wagnor discovered they were 4th grade "Twinkies" for the day.

The Rotary Club has once again demonstrated its commitment to our school! Annually, they contribute a significant donation aimed at enhancing literacy. This marks the second consecutive year that they have provided sufficient funds for every third grader to select a book from the book fair to keep. The students were thrilled, and the teachers expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the kindness and generosity of this community-focused group of Rotarians. Thank You.
