DES held a Food Drive contest before Thanksgiving. Third grade donated the most with 740 food items. They win an extra recess with popsicles. Thanks to every student who help grow our food pantry by 1,462 total items.


Mrs. Melton’s Homeroom 25 points wall was increased and Gustavo Hernandez 50 point AR wall. From Mrs. Cotten's Homeroom, Mallory Parada joined the 25 point AR wall and Jedediah Bailey and Noemi Victoria 50 points AR Wall. WOOHOO! Read today, Lead tomorrow!





Fourth graders Madison Revels and Saphire Prewitt reached the 75 point milestone for Accelerated Reading. In Mrs. Frachiseur's class, Sarah Downs has over 25 AR pts and Derry Aguilar has over 75 AR pts. Alexa Hernandez from Mrs. Richardson’s 4th grade class earned 25 AR points. Way to go, guys! Readers are leaders!

Mrs. Morphew’s homeroom has made some accomplishments: Santos Del-Angel, James Chadwick, Mayan Patel, and Jael Lopez reached 25 points in AR.
Araceli San Juan, Anistyn Irvan, Ava Gingery, and Jiraly Macias reached 25 points in AR. In Mrs. Frachiseur's class, Briana Hernandez has finished Sector 1 in Frax!
