DES was recognized by the OEP at the University of Arkansas as a school that is "Beating the Odds in Math". Our students demonstrated high growth on the ACT Aspire even though the school serves a high percentage of students who participate in the Free and Reduced Lunch program. We received the Beating the Odds award for High Math Growth in the Southwest region.
